Blu Cigs vs. Volcano E Cigs Comparison

Blu Cigs is one the most recognized names in the e-cigarette industry, and it’s one of the most popular brands on the market. Volcano E Cigs is a relative newcomer. It’s quickly made a name for itself, however, and the news that the same manufacturer creates both Blu Cigs and Volcano E Cigs has piqued curiosity. With that in mind, we reviewed both brands, and here are the results of that process:

Design Comparison

One might think that since the brands share manufacturers that they might be quite similar in design. This isn’t the case, however. The Volcano E Cigs is a little smaller. There is no noticeable difference in weight, and the overall design of Blu Cigs is better. The vapor mechanism is considerably different. The important aspect for consumers to realize is that Volcano E Cigs is not simply a different branding of the Blu Cigs product, which is a common rumor.

Quality of Blu Cigs vs Volcano Cigs

The vapor system that Blu Cigs uses is simply more effective most of the time. The Volcano E Cigs does seem to close the gap at low charge, but since most use their e-cigarettes at above that mark, the Blu Cigs is much more consistent. The Volcano E Cigs system is definitely less efficient using the liquid, and that’ll add up over the long term.

Comparing both Flavors

Flavor is what has made Blu Cigs the industry leader. The tobacco flavors are strong and authentic, and the specialty flavors are full bodied and have excellent aftertaste. We expected Blu Cigs to outperform Volcano E Cigs considerably in the flavor department. It did not. We still prefer Blu Cigs, but we were very impressed with how Volcano E Cigs tasted.

Conclusion

Volcano E Cigs is a strong newcomer, and it has a price that’s competitive with Blu Cigs, at least at first. Long term, however, we still find that Blu Cigs provides much greater bang for the buck. It operates more consistently and efficiently, and the flavors are still the best.
